Albert Avetissian was born in 1949. He is the member of the Unit of painters in Armenia, Russia, the member of the Unit of professional painters of UNESCO, the member of The European Academy of Arts, the member of the Academy of Arts, Scince and Literature in France.
Very early he shows great interest towards arts, and at the age of 6 years he starts attending the Yerevan Arts School, he receives his professional education in Erevan Academy of Arts in 1971. He was yet a student when his compositions and sculptural portraits were exhibited firstly in Armenia, then in Russia, Ukraine, Argentine, Egypt, France, Belgium and Holland.
His creative preferences are both in small size compositions or in monumental works. Between 1970 and 1996 he has created more than 20 grand scale monuments, as well as numerous decorative compositions, which embellish today squares, administrative buildings, cultural and recreational centers in Armenia,Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and France.
His works are represented in the best galleries in Paris, Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.
He lives and works in France.
