Art Russia Fair 2023

This year the Form & Bronze Art Gallery has prepared two stands for the Fair - The Dark and The Light Side, as we jokingly call them! 

 At the "dark" stand, we presented our fantastic sculptures. These are the works of Sergey Kondrashkin, our wonderful author, who rethinks the plots of the Sumerian-Akkadian and many other ancient epics. Sculptures by Andrey Ostashov, an author who combines in his works the attributes of the ancient martial East with modern plots, cartoonish accents and the theme of childhood, were also demonstrated.

The sculptural compositions were accompanied by paintings by the St. Petersburg artist Sergey Kiselev, who masterfully works out the texture of the canvases, incorporating many subject and color symbols into his abstract works!

As part of the exposition on the "light" side, we presented the works of the wonderful dynasty of sculptors Albert and Arsen Avetissian - famous authors, whose monuments adorn many cities of the world. Also at the stand were exhibited paintings by the St. Petersburg artist Vyacheslav Mikhailov, whose amazing technique of working with gesso became a subject of great interest to our viewers!

In addition, we presented paintings by Andrey Belle and sculptures by the author, which belong to our ongoing project "Two Sides of Creativity". In these works, the author carefully recreated the images of the refined heroines of his canvases.

 In his address to the audience of our social networks, the founder of the gallery, David Aleksandrovich, outlined the main idea of ​​this exhibition: “We pursue the promotion of beauty. But speaking quite seriously, we promote the life and work of our authors. We have a small number of them, and we treat them very carefully. The authors constantly have new works, their creative path is changing. Our goal is to speak professionally about it. Show the viewer how it happens. What you see on the stands is an exhibition of achievements to date.”

In addition to wonderful works, the audience's attention was captured by the performance of Semyon Zhokhov, one of the sculptors of the Form & Bronze Gallery. Right at the stand, the author fashioned a fairy-tale hero from scratch in front of the astonished audience. The theme for the work was thought up just a minute before the start of the performance, and the spectator, who was the first to guess what the sculptor was trying to depict, received our updated extended catalog as a gift from the gallery!
