About us

Form & Bronze Gallery, Studio Arsen project, presents to the public the works of contemporary artists and sculptors, specializing in bronze sculpture. Inviting native authors into the world of gallery art, the project also includes representation of foreign artists in Russia.

The main goals of Form & Bronze are education in the sphere of relevant art, curatorial activity, popularization of our contemporaries’ works, and creative participation in forming new and widening of existing collections. Our galleries in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi hold regular exhibitions and are always open to projects on a regional and citywide scale.

An artist for us is not just a representative of a particular artistic genre, but a special person in art – with his own handwriting, his own position and a unique view of life. It is from this point of view that we present the works of authors to the viewer; behind each of them is the universe of its creator and at the same time a reflection of the epoch in which we all live.

During the time of its existence, Form & Bronze Gallery has left a noticeable trace in the artistic history of St. Petersburg, successfully implementing a large number of exhibition programs and creative projects. As part of the Studio Arsen project, Arsen Avetissian’s sculptures have taken their rightful place at the city’s landmarks, becoming its new symbols and magically transforming its theatrical space. You can meet the sculptor’s memorable characters near the oldest Circus on Fontanka River, in the yard of Philological Faculty of the St. Petersburg State University, in Zelenogorsk, near the shore of Gulf of Finland.

Arsen Avetissian’s creativity defined the general direction of the artworks presented at Studio Arsen, but did not limit in any way the range and variety of their themes and artistic interpretations. Epic heroes of Sumerio-Akkadian myths, embodied in the works of Sergey Kondrashkin, neighboring here with futuristic sculptures of Gleb Kryukov, reminiscent of the heroes from the Marvel universe. A peculiar refraction of Art Deco style in the series of sculptures by Aramare Vecchio (Ballet, Golf, and Musicians series) is similar to a modern reading of Renaissance art in the paintings of Alexander Sigov. Interpretations of erotic fantasies in the works of French sculptor Albert Avetissian unite modernity with antiquity, as freely as the Belarusian sculptor Andrey Ostashov combines the East with the West. Diversity of art objects is a fundamental principle of the gallery, which is open to cooperation with representatives of both innovative and traditional artistic movements.

The scope of Form & Bronze activities includes professional support for collectors and connoisseurs of contemporary art, connections with whom we carefully preserve and actively strengthen, thanks to cooperation with art historians and art critics in selecting unique works and forming private and corporate collections.

A meaningful and professionally executed selection of works of authorship art allows us to transform any exhibition space – from city squares to private interiors and landscapes. Including art objects in the context fundamentally changes the atmosphere of the space and raises its status, which certainly means an investment in the future.
