Ancient clocks, clearly passed down from generation to generation. Time itself is contained in them, its seconds, minutes, hours, days, years, centuries. Leaning on them, the hero seeks strength and support in the accumulated experience of time's streams, his life's history, family history, the history of the people, all of humanity. The roots of a person lie in preserved traditions, shared memories where different things remain - comical and tragic, good and evil, great and mundane. Juices are drawn from the past giving life to the present and future; advice and analogies can be found there; new systems are created and new ideas are born. It's sometimes hard to turn to it but necessary.
