‘Bodhisattva-Enlightenment’ reveals a state of inner light in which silence becomes knowledge. In this work, one senses clarity, composure and that rare state where form no longer proves anything, but simply radiates inner fulfilment.
The sculpture seems to whisper: ‘I have seen the light within.’ That is precisely why it has such a profound effect. It holds one’s attention not through a gesture, but through a state of enlightened concentration.
For Mosielev, the ability of form to convey the essence of the image is particularly important. On his website, the artist emphasises that he strives to reveal ‘the true soul of the hero’, and in this work that aim is realised with particular clarity.
The image of the Bodhisattva is not transformed into a narrative plot. It exists as a sculptural concentration of spiritual experience, as a sign of inner awakening, gathered into a clear and noble silhouette.
The interpretation of the state itself is also significant. Enlightenment is understood here not as an external epiphany, but as a profound inner stillness in which everything has already found its measure. Thanks to this, the work is perceived as a very cohesive whole. It possesses a spiritual verticality, a gentle sculptural stability and a sense of inner completeness. It is precisely this that makes the work particularly resonant with the overall theme of the stand,
