Ivan Ivanovich Tarasyuk was born in 1957. He was studied in artistic school in Sverdlovsk and was taught by such people as Mosin, Brusilovskiy, Volovich, Metelev. Also he was studied in Leningrad institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named by Repin, the studio of Vetrogonskiy. He visited the sculptor Anikushin’s studio.
Since 1990 he is the member of the unit of painters in Russia. He is the honored painter in Russia.
In 2007 he was awarded the International Van Dyck award (Italy).
