The Pear Cellers
August. Warm afternoon. It’s the time when you can smell honey & fruit on the air. From time to time a tiny thin cobweb is flying by the wind – that’s a true sign of approaching September. The Family is standing by the edge of the road. Their silent & concentrated faces & their hardworking hands can definitely tell about their difficult peasant life, about everyday soil concern. And anyhow, it’s a real happiness to be together, to live on your own land, to be fed by it & to be able to share with passers-by with the results of your fruitful work.
