On the 23rd of November opens a retrospective exhibition of sculptor Andrey Ostashov in The Contemporary art Museum Erarta. There will be presented woks, executed throughout 20 years of artist’s creative life: graphics and certainly bronze sculpture. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Andrey Ostashov is one of the most successful and extraordinary sculptor of Belorussia, who became famous far beyond his motherland. You can find his works in museums and private collections of Russia, Europe and USA.

East and West, myth and reality are delicately intertwined in his oeuvre. He bravely plays with the items of household and applied art of Far East, images of samurais and Teddy bears, fairy princesses and Indian shamans. Ostashov unites different worlds, creating the whole.
