Andrian Gorlanov

Andrian Gorlanov was born in 1964 in Stavropol on Volga (present day Togliatti). In 1983 he finished Samara artistic college. In 1992 finished Russian Academy of Arts named by Repin.

Petersburger Andrian Gorlanov is one of the most interesting and successful modern landscape-painter. A common plot and defined picturesque theme of his works is a town landscape in the past which has a long comparison history of nature and civilization. So it is no coincidence that the painter feels an affection towards the paintings of gardens and parks, for example, Saint-Petersburg Summer Garden which the whole series of paintings was devoted. In this works with repeated plot excellently interprets an atmosphere peculiar to old Saint-Petersburg.
